Flowers

Materials needed: toothpicks or skewers (it depends whether you want to make big or small flowers), crepe paper – green and red (or some other color – according to the color of the flower you want to make), scissors, glue.
Instructions: First, take crepe paper and start cutting the 4–5 cm wide slips out of it. Apply these slips to the skewer or toothpick, and roll the crepe paper around. Glue it in the end so that the crepe paper will not wind off. You will make several stalks for the flowers in such a way. After that, we can start cutting the leaves. Take the slip, which is 10 cm wide and 20 cm long, and fold it in its length – start cutting the elongated leaves out of it so that the folded middle part will be kept untouched in the leaves as well – you will get a double-leaf after unfolding it. Stick it to the bottom part of the stalk. You can move the leaves into various heights after rotating them. Finally, you have to make the flower heads. Choose the color of the paper and cut a 5 cm wide and 15 cm long slip out of it. Bend it crisscross for several times so that the final square will look like you want it. Now, cut all the layers into the circle shape. Cut the half of the colorful slip on its circuit. Separate the individual circles, as you want and start sticking one circle on another so that the flower leafage – the cut parts of the inside circle – will not overlap but they need to be a bit moved. It's optimal to stick 4 layers of circles on each other. You can ruffle them with your finger. Now, take a contrast color of crepe paper and cut a small square out of it. Make a ball and stick it into the middle of the flower as a pollinic center of the flower. Stick this flower head on the stalk.
It will take you some time to make such a flower but the final product is worth it. :)
